Description of Manosque

Manosque (Provencal Occitan: Manòsca in a cappella norm or Manosco in Mistralian norm) is the largest town and collective in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence school in southeastern France. However, it is not the préfecture (capital) of the département, which resides in the smaller town of Digne-les-Bains. It is located bleeding the latest easterly butt end of the Luberon near the Durance river.
